
Tammi Masters

Tammi Masters, RN, CCRC, TMIACR, has worked in the clinical research field for over 25 years and is currently Director of the global clinical training program at Syneos Health, in Raleigh, NC in the US.
Tammi has worked in a variety of positions including Clinical Research Coordinator and Project Manager in the Office of Clinical Trials at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her current role, she is responsible for managing the global clinical training program for over 3000 CRAs of varying levels of experience, administering a training program that is compliant with the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Standard for Continuing Education and Training and also she has experience implementing Learning Management Systems.
In 2012, Tammi chaired the International Academy of Clinical Research (IAOCR) Taskforce for writing core competencies for Clinical Research Trainers. Tammi obtained credentialing as a clinical research training manager in 2014 through the IAOCR, becoming the first credentialed training manager in the US, and implemented the CRA Credentialing program allowing Syneos Health to become the first global CRO to offer CRA Accreditation to its employees.
Tammi has maintained ACRP certification as a CCRC since 2001 and has participated as a judge for the Clinical Researcher of the Year competition.
